The Farmer’s Market
May 13, 2010One evening after work I decided I would drive around the city & see if I could find a couple of things to shoot. Well I ended up in downtown Hattiesburg where I encountered several independent vendors at a “Farmer’s Market”. One of the things that instantly struck me was the uniqueness of each vendor & the products or mechandise they had for sale. There was everything from homemade honey, jelly, & jams to goat jerky. I love beef jerky just as much as the next person but I don’t think i’m quite ready to venture off & cross over into the goat’s side of the fence (just yet). However, I was tempted to buy some of the “Goat Jerky’ just out of plain curiousity lol. Well anyway I just wanted to share a few of these images with you all. While snapping a few of these shots it really was a great reminder to me of
1.why I love photography so much
2.why I got into photography in the first place.
3.how relaxing and therapeutic it is to just go out & photograph any & everything you see.
It’s definitely a good break from fashion, wedding, & portraiture styles of photography.
