I’ve actually known Brian & Rhonda since freshman year at The University of Southern Mississippi so its always good to catch up & reminisce on old times with fellow alumni. We met up during one of Rhonda & Brian’s weekend visits to Hattiesburg (which also happened to be QUE-DELTA weekend) to do their Engagement Portraits. Natchez,MS is one of the most beautiful & historically rich cities in the state of Mississippi. I have had the privilege of spending a lot of time in Natchez over the years growing up in nearby Fayette,MS [JEFFERSON CO.] & graduating from Cathedral High School located in Natchez. Both counties Adams & Jefferson, geographically border the Mississippi River along with Highway 61. I have probably taken more than a thousand photos in this area over the years so these images are just some of the more recent ones I have. I urge anyone who has never visited this part of the state of Mississippi to do so. You won’t regret it & there’s definitely nothing like it. Kaydence’s 1st Birthday Party:
It was certainly a pleasure photographing my niece’s first birthday party at Gattitown here in Hattiesburg. She will certainly keep you smiling & laughing because she is FULL of life & energy lol.
This evening I decided to check out my old stomping ground & take a few photos on The University of Southern Mississippi‘s campus.I came across the School of Music hosting a performance by their”Wind Ensemble” at Bennett Auditorium. Me being the photographer I am, I decided to get a few shots in. It was also the perfect opportunity to take some low light shots & test out the 24mm lens I had.
Here are a few images from Willie + Orisha’s engagement portrait session. We decided to shoot in Natchez,MS on the hill by the Mississippi River bridge. I really enjoyed capturing the true & natural love between Willie & Orisha. The scenery there in Natchez is always wonderful & definitely a great place for portraits. These are a few images from the two engagement session we did in Hattiesburg, MS. The first session took place on the campus of my alma mater “The University of Southern Mississippi” and the second session we shot in downtown Hattiesburg,MS.
